'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League homecoming

Kane marks his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his enthusiasm in returning to the Premier League has faded and he is open to negotiate a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is at the moment two years through the four-year agreement he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.

The veteran forward has scored an impressive 103 goals in 106 games for the German club, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which marked the first significant honor of his notable career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has recently mentioned that he would welcome to see Kane return to England, where he requires 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England leader has now indicated that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he once was, and would seriously think about extending his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could certainly see that," he commented.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so goes and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different opportunities and different timings happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the speediest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had avoided him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane admits that he was not sure how he would feel after overcoming his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
